Mountain Air is our 2 bedroom & 2 bath cabin that offers a secluded getaway from the hustle, bustle and bright lights of the attractions areas and puts you into the Smoky Mountains. We are very private with no other cabins in sight!

Our housekeeping partner has a strict cleaning regimen that is performed after every guest stay. It includes processes and procedures to provide protections for our guests and our team members.

All laundry is done at recommended temperatures and uses products designed to provide the proper degree of sanitization.

⏤ Road Conditions ⏤

The private road to the cabin is only partially paved, with most of it being gravel and dirt. There are some places where the grade could be considered a bit steep. During the wet seasons, potholes and ruts can develop. It is a privately-owned road we have no control over.

Low-riding vehicles, trailers, and motorcycles are not suitable for the private roadway. During winter months, it is best to have AWD, 4WD, or chains just to be safe. You should view a video of the drive (after turning off main road) on by searching the Internet for "#mountainair37862". Past guests have said the video was very helpful.

Our driveway is a mix of gravel and dirt, but is well-maintained. We have parking for 2-3 vehicles, depending on size.

Please remember you will be staying in the mountains and mountain roads can be challenging at times. We cannot and do not guarantee any road surface conditions, especially during Winter. Most public roads are well maintained but some are winding, steep, and/or bumpy. It is not unusual to have some washed out areas or downed trees, especially after heavy wet weather or high winds. You are responsible for your own transportation. We cannot provide any transportation or transportation assistance for guests. Weather conditions can be very unpredictable, and it is your responsibility to come fully prepared. We do not refund due to weather, road conditions, or the location of the property on the mountain. When visiting the mountains, it is highly advisable to understand how to manually shift your vehicle to address the differing driving conditions found here.

⏤ Wi-Fi, Phone, & TV Services ⏤

Cellular signals are generally very weak at the cabin. We have added a signal booster indoors, near the kitchen, but results can vary. 

We offer DishTV and basic Internet w/Wi-Fi (speeds cannot be guaranteed and may not be suitable for streaming TV/video). Weather or other issues can affect their operation and performance.

Once reserved here, we will send a confirmation message with a link to our secure website and instructions to finalize your booking. We need that done within 24 hours, or the reservation may be canceled.

The Renter of record must:
・meet the required minimum age;
・provide a credit card for the security deposit;
・be present during entire stay;
・upload a valid government-issued ID;
・sign our rental agreement;  and,
・provide names & ages of the entire party.

If this has been completed, we will provide check-in information 2 days prior to your scheduled arrival in our digital guidebook.

Pricing is updated frequently. Rates are not locked-in until the property is fully reserved.

We are unable to accommodate luggage drop-off, early arrivals, or late checkouts.
